Social Studies Africa Country Mini-project: Land Use & Conflict/Cooperation Essay
Essays are to be written using skills learned in language arts in grades 4-5. Students are to use the content they have learned about the country they've researched in their essay. Essays should be at least one page double spaced typed font size 14 Times New Roman, or 2 pages handwritten in ink and in cursive in the child's language.
Paragraphs should be indented, have a topic sentence and have 5 or more detail sentences each. The first paragraph should introduce the theme of the essay. The middle paragraphs develop the essay theme. The last paragraph should summarize.
